A Gas Safe (formerly Corgi) registered operative is deemed safe to work on gas fittings in the UK. Unfortunately things aren’t as simple to assume even a Gas Safe operative by default has the relevant skills, experience and knowledge to be able to deal with complex boiler breakdowns or install a heating system to a standard you can only expect from specialists. All Centrona Gas engineers and installers are highly skilled Gas Safe registered engineers that specialise in the discipline of heating breakdowns, boiler repairs and boiler installation.

We are a team of in house trained Gas Safe registered, technical heating engineers who specialise in central heating breakdowns, boiler repairs, boiler installation, domestic gas installations and maintenance. Refreshingly we are measured on the quality of our work and not quantity of work carried out. Although we cross over into elements of the plumbing trade we are not plumbers who just so happen to do “gas stuff” we are domestic heating and hot water breakdowns consultants. Each engineer has passed over 70 exams and has a minimum 8 years experience in boiler breakdowns, central heating and gas repairs. To ensure our technical resources are up to date with the industries ever changing regulations and new boiler entries our engineers skills are enhanced with ongoing training, research and development. We sometimes share valuable data with boiler manufactures to help them identify common faults with their products.
